Some history
In early October 2004 in Moscow, was formed by a partnership of human rights organizations that specialize in holding public inquiries into cases of human rights violations by law enforcement. They are united by a common method of work, the principles of organization of public investigations, designed the city of Kazan Human Rights Center in cooperation with the Nizhniy Novgorod "Committee against Torture".

Field testing will be scheduled at least once in three months. In the verification commission includes two members of the coordinating council, the secretary of partnership, as well as possible participation of invited experts.
In November, the first exit of the supervisory review, which were subjected to human rights organization in Nizhny Novgorod "The Committee against Torture" and Yoshkar-Ola city human rights organization "Man and Law".
Nizhny Novgorod
